The Committee ensures the protection of rights of persons that take part in research within scientific and research projects undertaken by employees and students at CTU in Prague. It assesses the ethical aspects of the proposed projects in which students or employees at CTU Prague participate, both from the perspective of their overall focus and the planned procedures and tools used in the research and the level of expected awareness of participants in research, its satisfactory level and the measures to protect their rights.

"Applications for Assessment of the Committee" and a "Sample Informed Consent" are submitted to the Rector’s Secretariat. The Committee issues an assessment of the submitted project proposals as separate documents within 60 days after the application was submitted duly and in full.
