APPEAL AGAINST A FEE ASSESSMENT DECISION TO BE SUBMITTED:
- FACULTY STUDENTS TO THE FACULTY FILING OFFICE,
- MIAS STUDENTS TO THE RECTORATE FILING OFFICE

 

The fees associated with the study are determined in accordance with § 58, paragraph 3 of the Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Universities and on the amendment and addition of other laws (Act on Universities) as amended and Article 11 of the Statute of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Appeal against the Decision on the Assessment of the Fee for Longer Studies

  • The Decision on the Assessment of the Fee can be appealed in writing within 30 days of its notification.
  • You can find instructions on the possibility of filing an appeal in your Fee Assessment Decision.
  • Appeals, including requests for waivers, fee reductions, deferrals, or fee instalments, can be mailed, or submitted to the filing office of the relevant part.
  • The Decision on the Assessment of the Fee becomes legally binding after 30 days from the announcement (delivery) of the decision, unless the payer appeals against it in the administrative procedure.

Requirements for an appeal against the assessment of the tuition fee

  • Form (download),
  • A copy of the Decision on the Assessment of the Fee,
  • Justification of the request according to paragraph 4 of Annex No. 5 of the Statute of CTU and supporting with relevant documents.

Recovery of unpaid study-related fees - enforcement

The Czech Technical University in Prague collects unpaid fees related to study within the statutory period of 10 years after their due date on the basis of a contract concluded with the  Enforcement Office in Prague 6. In case of enforcement, the CTU, in cooperation with this Office, has prepared these Ten Commandments (in Czech), for its debtors, which will help them resolve the situation.
