CTU Children’s University - Public web - Czech technical university in Prague

You are here

Since 2015, CTU in Prague has organized an annual CTU Children’s University in the form of a summer daytime camp. In the course of an event lasting one week, children can experience what a university education is like. They can find out about various fields of engineering, and about all the faculties of CTU. Each year, CTU experts prepare an interactive and experiential programme for young scientists. There are demonstrations in unique technical laboratories, short scientific shows, and physical experiments. The Children’s University also includes sports activities organized by professional children’s trainers.

The Children’s University is aimed at basic school children that have completed the first to eighth class, and children from the corresponding years at other schools. In the course of the week, the young students work on their bachelor or master project. After successfully graduating from the Children’s University, participants are awarded a Little Bachelor or Little Master of Engineering diploma in a ceremony held in the Bethlehem Chapel, the great hall of CTU in Prague.

The programme is offered in Czech language only.
