Centre for Information and Counselling Services (CIPS)

Our task is to act as a low-threshold institution for students at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), for prospective students and for the public. We are a place with a friendly atmosphere, open to all, offering a helping hand with emphasis on the individual and her/his own individuality - a place with a positive impact on the atmosphere of the university as a whole. We support good relationships between students and the university and thus co-create conditions for successful studying and for a successful professional and personal life.

  • A diverse range of professional counseling: academic, psychological, personal development (speech and coaching), socio-legal, and spiritual
  • A safe environment for students facing difficulties
  • Immediate crisis intervention
  • Free access to daily newspapers and magazines

What we organize

  • Thematic seminars and lectures supporting academic skills and personal development
  • Drama workshops to foster creativity in artistically-minded students
