The Czech Technical University in Prague is the founder of the Lvíčata university nursery and elementary school.
Nursery
The Lvíčata nursery focuses on science and technology. We provide high-quality and slightly unconventional preschool education for the children of CTU employees and students at the Dejvice campus, as well as for the children of VŠE employees and students at the Žižkov campus. We also offer a variety of after-school clubs, which can be attended even by children who are not enrolled in our preschool.
Elementary School
Our elementary school provides education only at the primary level (grades 1–5). Just like the Lvíčata preschool, it focuses on science and technology. Students have the opportunity to visit specialized CTU workplaces, and experts from individual faculties participate in the teaching process. Thanks to small class sizes and very close cooperation with parents, our students achieve excellent results. The Lvíčata elementary school has also become part of the network of schools cooperating with Mensa Czech Republic.
