International Mathematic Conference at FNSPE
The Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of CTU in Prague hosted an international mathematic conference Jurnées Numeration between 26 and 30 May 2008.
The series of conferences focused on interactions between numeration systems,
ergodic theory, number theory and combinatorics started several years ago in Marseilles and continued by the meetings of scientists in Grenoble and Graz.
Researchers from more than 18 countries, mainly from France,
Netherlands, Austria, but also from Canada, China,
Japan and Brazil,
presented their works this year. The meeting was a great
opportunity for young scientists to meet prominent mathematicians
and find a new postdoctoral positions at world-famous universities.
