The conference was organized by the Czech Technical university in Prague, Faculty of Transportation Sciences and the Central Bohemia Innovation Center under the patronage of Václav Havlíček, the rector of CTU in Prague, Petr Moos, the dean of Faculty of Tranportation Sciences and Oldřich Vojíř, chairman of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic.

Conference lectures covered topics such as cooperation between universities and private sector, function of innovation centers and project-oriented study, experience in science and technology parks in Europe, the entrepreneurial training and technology commercialization and many others. The speakers came from many different universities (CTU Prague, University of Pardubice, University of Texas at El Paso), research institutes and as well as from the private sector.
