A SITRONICS centre presentation

On Thursday 11th November 2007, Boris Šimák, a dean of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, introduced a presentation of the SITRONICS centre, which was founded in 2005 as a joint project of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Czech Republic, a.s. (previously STROM telecom, a.s.), developer and producer of wide range of telecommunication network equipment, information systems and technologies, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

sitronicsA SITRONICS TS representative introduced his company himself after the dean’s speech and was followed by presentations of the centre’s project team leaders.

The activities of SITRONICS centre are based on the work of project teams led by experts from CTU-FEE and from SITRONICS TS. The individual project teams focus on development of new solutions for testing of current products, problems of speech signals quality for VoIP transmission, determination of future application trends, technologies and services for 3G mobile networks, searching for prospective solutions of circuitry for telecommunication equipment including their prospective applications, verification of properties, as well as design of functional prototypes including necessary software.
