In the course of his visit, Professor Hänsch gave a talk for students and for the academic community, and he also led a seminar on quantum physics, his field of specialisation, aimed at PhD students and academics specializing in this field.

  Public lecture was held on Tuesday March 31st, 2009, at 10.00 a.m., in lecture theatre 209/309 in the builidng of the Electrical Engineering Faculty, Technická 2, Prague 6. The lecture was transmitted live on http://hansch.cvut.cz/ and was shown on screens at various locations in the university.
• TOWARDS A QUANTUM LABORATORY ON A CHIP

  The seminar aimed at PhD students and academics specializing in quantum physics took place on Wednesday April 1st, 2009 in lecture theatre 103 in the building of the Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering, Prague 1.

  Another meeting and discussion with with Professor Hänsch. This took place on Tuesday March 31st, 2009 in the building of the Electrical Engineering Faculty, Prague 6.
• On Wednesday April 1st, Professor Hänsch visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Nuclear Science and Physical Engineering in Trojanova Street 13, Prague 2. (accompanied by Prof. Václav Kubeček and Prof. Ivan Procházka), and the workplace of the Department of Cybernetics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Karlovo náměstí 13, Praha 2 (accompanied by Prof. Vladimír Mařík).
