How to apply
- Step 1 - Nomination (Contact your LLP - Erasmus coordinator or exchange coordinator)
If you wish to come to study at CTU in Prague as an Erasmus or an exchange student, your university must officially nominate you. In the first instance, therefore, you must contact your LLP - Erasmus coordinator or exchange coordinator. - Step 2 - On-line registration
Please note that the on-line registration is an obligatory process. Even you if have filled in the standard forms (on paper), note that you must still register on-line.

The deadlines are: April 30 for the winter term and for the whole academic year and by 30 November for the summer term. - Step 3 - Confirmation of Essential Forms: Application Form + Learning Agreement The printed out forms are to be checked and confirmed/signed by the relevant coordinators at your home university.
Remember that forms must be delivered in time. Late applications may be rejected, and late applicants will be last in line for accommodation in university dormitories. - please check the final deadlines above.
- Step 4 - Sending documents
Copies signed by the home university must reach (mailed, faxed, e-mailed) the contact person for incoming students, Mrs. Lucie Bilova (bilova@vc.cvut.cz) by April 30 for the winter term and for the whole academic year, and by November 30 (October 30 - Exchange students - non European countries), for the summer term.

In addition to the application form please also remember to send your transcript of records.
The application process for your study exchange begins when you send the printed, signed and stamped forms.
The CTU university co-ordinator will add your name to the list of applicants for accommodation in a student dormitory after the application has been submitted. The accommodation is reserved on the basis of first come, first served until the capacity is full. The co-ordinator will inform the student without delay in writing about acceptance for a study programme and about the address of her/his accommodation (this document is needed by those non-EU students who must apply for a visa). Please note that Erasmus and Exchange students are expected to check-in on a specified day, not more than 5 days before the Orientation week, and they must give notice last 2 weeks before leaving. Accommodation in universities dormitories is normally not available at student prices during the summer months.
Note that the university offers accommodation only in shared rooms, normally in 2-bed rooms. The accommodation is inexpensive and conveniently located, with excellent internet access, but isn't necessarily of good quality. The international office doesn't administer the university's accommodation. It's normally able to help exchange students who complete their application on time to find accommodation in a university dormitory, and will attempt to help students with severe accommodation problems, but the day-to-day management of the accommodation is carried out by a separate, autonomous organization (SUZ).
Late applications will also be considered, but accommodation in student dormitories will not be guaranteed. It's only moderately difficult to find private accommodation in the Czech Republic. For a 3-room flat (2 rooms and a kitchen) in Prague you can pay about CZK 15 000.
