Dear authors and readers

• Many thanks for your interest in Acta Polytechnica, a scientific journal published by CTU in Prague. The main title, Acta Polytechnica, is accompanied by the subtitle Journal of Advanced Engineering, which defines the scope of the journal more precisely. Acta Polytechnica covers a wide spectrum of engineering topics, physics and mathematics.
  

  Acta Polytechnica is published both in electronic form and in printed form. The e-version is considered the main version of the journal. We are currently preparing a new presentation on platform OJS (Open Journal System) in cooperation with the CTU Central Library.

• For several years Acta Polytechnica was listed by the Research, Development and Innovation Council. Since the beginning of 2012, Acta Polytechnica has been included in the Scopus database, retroactively from volume 51 (2011).

• We welcome high-quality scientific work that has not previously been published and contains outputs that are beneficial and original. All papers are assessed by the editorial board, and accepted papers are then peer-reviewed.

• You can download here the LaTeX template, Content verification form and the Submission form. The content verification form should to be sent together with the paper in the form of a scanned signed document. The application form can be submitted electronically.
