For students of most CTU's departments there is no work study requirement as an integral part to their degree program. Although some students must complete a short work experience during summer vacation. Great many students gain valuable work experience with paid part-time work during the semester and/or summer employment in the Czech Republic and abroad. Final Projects, which must be completed during Bachelor and Master degree study, are increasingly processed as 'real projects' for companies students work or for companies which contacted the university.

The University participates in Leonardo da Vinci program. It is still difficult to find jobs for incoming students. with Czech employers.

Student organization IAESTE is very active at CTU in Prague. http://www.cvut.iaeste.cz/.

It not only enables job placement for students but every year presents a large and well organized Job Fair.
